Poplar Mushrooms

It is characterized by having a yellow hat and a long white foot, much appreciated by gourmets . Its name is because it grows at the foot of poplars taking advantage of the humidity that generates this in the area. Due to the area where it grows naturally, this fungus is characterized by its high water level in its composition, superior to that of other fungi, which makes once cooked a fleshy texture slightly crunchy.

“The taste of the poplar mushroom is quite sweet and its smell pleasant, especially in younger specimens. This makes us our best friend in the kitchen”- CARLOS ARGUIÑANO (CHEF)
